KING KABLE Launches USB039 Optical Fiber USB3.1 Type-C Straight and Angled VR Streaming Cable: 10Gbps over Up to 30m
2020-11-06
KING KABLE has released the USB039 optical fiber USB3.1 Type-C VR streaming cable in straight and angled versions. Compliant with USB3.1 Gen2, it delivers 10Gbps bandwidth, works with USB3.1/3.0/2.0 devices and reaches up to 30 meters, optimized for PCVR streaming and long-distance high-speed USB links.
The USB039 is offered in straight and 90-degree angled versions with USB Type-C male to USB Type-C male (angled) connectors. The straight plug suits devices with outward-facing ports and ample space, while the angled plug exits flush against the chassis, reducing port stress and cable bending and saving space during headset wear or rack and workstation routing. Both versions share identical electrical performance.
Conductors combine OM3 10G optical fiber with copper fillers and Kevlar anti-pull yarns under an eco-friendly PVC jacket, 4.8mm in diameter with a 20mm static minimum bend radius, 100N long-term and 200N short-term tensile ratings and 200N long-term and 400N short-term crush ratings, so the cable withstands frequent pulling and bending in VR use, while optical transmission provides EMI immunity and drop-free long-distance performance.
Connector shells are gold-plated zinc alloy with die-cast zinc alloy housings for durable mating. The USB039 supports the UVC video protocol and works with Meta Quest 1/2/PRO, PICO NEO, VIVE and iQIYI VR devices, and also serves industrial cameras, security surveillance and machine vision. It is unidirectional (host to device), plug and play with no external power, operates from -20C to +70C, is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH, and is available in 10m and 30m lengths with customization.
