KING KABLE Launches USB037 Optical Fiber USB3.1 Gen2 Type-C to C VR Streaming Cable: 10Gbps plus PD60W over Up to 30m
2020-10-29
KING KABLE has released the USB037 optical fiber USB3.1 Gen2 Type-C to C VR streaming cable. Designed for PCVR streaming, it complies with USB3.1 Gen2 at 10Gbps bandwidth, works with USB3.1/3.0/2.0 devices and reaches up to 30 meters, giving players near-wireless freedom of movement while keeping a wired connection stable.
The USB037 also supports PD 60W fast charging, powering the headset during streaming so long sessions are not interrupted by low battery. Conductors combine OM3 10G optical fiber for high-speed data with copper cores for power, plus Kevlar anti-pull yarns under an eco-friendly PVC jacket, 4.8mm in diameter with a 20mm static minimum bend radius for light, comfortable routing.
Connectors are USB Type-C male to male with gold-plated zinc alloy shells and die-cast zinc alloy housings for durable mating. Tensile ratings are 100N long-term and 200N short-term with crush ratings of 200N long-term and 400N short-term, so the cable withstands the frequent pulling, stepping and bending of VR use. Optical transmission provides strong EMI immunity, preventing frame drops and disconnections over distance.
The USB037 supports the UVC video protocol and works with Meta Quest, Quest PRO, PICO and VIVE headsets, and also serves industrial cameras, security surveillance and machine vision robots needing long-distance USB links. It is unidirectional (host to device), plug and play with no external power, operates from -20C to +70C, and is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH with custom lengths and connector marking.
