KING KABLE Launches USB035 Optical Fiber USB3.1 Gen2 Type-A Straight to Type-C Angled Cable: 10Gbps over Up to 30m
2020-10-26
KING KABLE has released the USB035 optical fiber USB3.1 Gen2 Type-A straight to Type-C angled cable. Compliant with USB3.1 Gen2, it provides 10Gbps bandwidth, works with USB3.1/3.0 devices and remains backward compatible with USB2.0 over distances of up to 30 meters.
Its defining feature is the 90-degree angled Type-C connector. For headsets, laptops, industrial PCs and cabinet equipment with side-facing or space-constrained ports, the angled plug lets the cable exit flush against the chassis, reducing stress on the port and bend pressure on the cable, lowering the risk of loose connections and breakage while keeping routing tidy.
Conductors combine OM3 10G optical fiber with copper fillers and Kevlar anti-pull yarns under an eco-friendly PVC jacket, 4.8mm in diameter with a 20mm static minimum bend radius, 100N long-term and 200N short-term tensile ratings and 200N long-term and 400N short-term crush ratings. Optical transmission provides strong EMI immunity and lossless, stable signals over distance.
Connectors are USB Type-A male (straight) to USB Type-C male (angled) with gold-plated zinc alloy shells and die-cast zinc alloy housings. The USB035 supports the UVC video protocol, is unidirectional (host to device), plug and play with no external power, operates from -20C to +70C at under 90% non-condensing humidity, and is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH with custom lengths and connector styles for VR devices, laptops, industrial equipment and data extension.
