KING KABLE Launches USB027 Optical Fiber USB3.1 Gen2 Type-A to Micro B Cable: 10Gbps over Up to 30m, USB2.0 Compatible
2020-10-15
KING KABLE has released the USB027 optical fiber USB3.1 Gen2 Type-A to Micro B cable. Compliant with USB3.1 Gen2, it delivers 10Gbps bandwidth, works with USB3.1/3.0 devices and remains backward compatible with USB2.0 over distances of up to 30 meters, providing a long-reach high-speed link for portable drives, digital cameras and industrial cameras with Micro B ports.
The USB027 uses imported electro-optical conversion chips to convert host-side electrical signals into light traveling through OM3 10G optical fiber and back again at the device, giving stable signals with low jitter and immunity to EMI. Conductors combine OM3 10G fiber with copper fillers and Kevlar anti-pull yarns under an eco-friendly PVC jacket, 4.8mm in diameter with a 20mm static minimum bend radius.
Connectors are USB Type-A male to USB Micro B male with gold-plated zinc alloy shells and die-cast zinc alloy housings for stable mating and durability. Tensile ratings are 100N long-term and 200N short-term, with crush ratings of 200N long-term and 400N short-term, suiting cabinet, duct and inter-device routing.
The USB027 supports the UVC video protocol for industrial cameras and capture devices, is unidirectional (host to device), plug and play with no external power, operates from -20C to +70C at under 90% non-condensing humidity, and is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH with multiple lengths and customization available.
