KING KABLE Launches USB025 Optical Fiber USB3.1 Gen1 Type-A to B DAC Cable: 5Gbps over Up to 50m for Lossless Audio
2020-09-29
KING KABLE has released the USB025 optical fiber USB3.1 Gen1 Type-A to Type-B DAC decoder cable. It uses a USB Type-A male to USB Type-B male connector pair with an electro-optical conversion chip, 5Gbps bandwidth, compatibility with USB3.1/3.0/2.0 devices and reach of up to 50 meters, allowing DACs, printers and storage devices to be placed far from the host.
For HiFi systems, electromagnetic interference on the USB link directly affects decoding quality. This optical design carries high-speed data over OM3 10G fiber with no high-speed copper conductors, so it neither picks up external EMI nor radiates noise into audio equipment, while copper fillers and Kevlar anti-pull yarns preserve data integrity and lower jitter over distance.
The cable has an eco-friendly PVC jacket at 4.8mm diameter, a 20mm static minimum bend radius, 100N long-term and 200N short-term tensile ratings and 200N long-term and 400N short-term crush ratings, making routing between audio racks, cabinets and desks straightforward. Connector shells are gold-plated zinc alloy with die-cast zinc alloy housings.
The USB025 is unidirectional (host to device), plug and play with no external power, operates from -20C to +70C at under 90% non-condensing humidity, and is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH with multiple lengths and customization. It suits DAC decoders, HiFi audio systems, cameras, storage devices, controllers, printers, laptops and projectors.
