KING KABLE Launches USB023 Optical Fiber USB3.1 Gen1 Type-A Male to Male Data Cable: 5Gbps over Up to 50m with EMI Immunity
2020-09-27
KING KABLE has released the USB023 optical fiber USB3.1 Gen1 Type-A male-to-male data cable. Compliant with USB3.1 Gen1, it provides 5Gbps bandwidth, compatibility with USB3.1/3.0/2.0 devices and reach of up to 50 meters, meeting the long-distance connection needs of industrial sites and conference systems where hosts and peripherals are separated.
The USB023 uses an electro-optical conversion chip with OM3 10G optical fiber conductors, copper fillers and Kevlar anti-pull yarns under an eco-friendly PVC jacket at 4.8mm diameter. Because high-speed signals travel as light, the cable offers strong EMI immunity and lossless, stable transmission in environments dense with motors, servo drives and high-frequency equipment.
Mechanically, it has a 50mm static minimum bend radius, 100N long-term and 200N short-term tensile ratings and 200N long-term and 400N short-term crush ratings, suiting duct, drag-chain and cabinet routing. Connectors are USB Type-A male to male with gold-plated zinc alloy shells and die-cast zinc alloy housings.
The USB023 supports the UVC video protocol for industrial cameras and USB capture devices, is unidirectional (host to device), plug and play with no external power, operates from -20C to +80C at under 90% non-condensing humidity, and is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH with multiple lengths and customization available.
