KING KABLE Launches 2nd-Gen Optical USB4 Cable G800 Compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4
2025-08-08
KING KABLE has launched the second-generation G800 optical fiber USB4 full-feature data cable. Retaining 40Gbps bandwidth, 8K@60Hz video and PD 60W fast charging, it adopts a USB4 Gen2 8-lane full-feature architecture and is compatible with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 and DP2.1 devices, covering the new high-speed interface ecosystem with a single cable.
The G800 uses USB Type-C male-to-male connectors with nickel-plated stainless steel shells. Its conductors combine OM3 10G optical fiber with copper cores, and the jacket is upgraded to eco-friendly TPE, with a 4.7mm diameter and lengths up to 30 meters. Fiber carries the high-speed differential signals to preserve integrity over distance, while copper cores handle power and auxiliary channels for 240W delivery.
It is backward compatible with USB3.2/3.1/3.0/2.0 and supports the UVC video protocol, serving XREAL, APPLE, META and PICO AR/VR devices as well as docking stations, external GPU enclosures, high-speed SSD storage, 8K displays and professional capture equipment. For XR users who need freedom of movement between headset and host, a 30-meter optical USB4 cable greatly improves usability.
The G800 is bi-directional , plug and play with no external power, certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH, and supports custom lengths, jacket materials and connector marking for consumer electronics, industrial and professional AV customers.
