KING KABLE has officially released the G400 optical fiber USB4 full-feature data cable in volume production. Based on the USB4.0 standard, it integrates data, video and power into a single 4.7mm cable: 40Gbps bandwidth, 8K@60Hz video output and PD fast charging over distances of up to 30 meters.

The G400 uses USB Type-C male-to-male connectors with nickel-plated stainless steel shells. Its conductors combine OM3 10G optical fiber with high-purity copper cores under an eco-friendly PVC jacket. High-speed differential channels travel over fiber, so they are immune to EMI and show no significant attenuation with length, while copper cores handle power and auxiliary channels for 60W delivery and stable device handshake.

The cable is backward compatible with USB3.2/3.1/3.0/2.0 devices and supports the UVC video protocol, serving docking stations, external GPU enclosures, high-speed SSD storage, 8K displays and professional capture equipment. For conference rooms, control rooms and studios where host and display are far apart, a 30-meter optical USB4 cable replaces copper-plus-extender combinations.

The G400 is bi-directional, plug and play with no external power, certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH, and supports custom lengths, jacket materials and connector marking for industrial, medical and professional AV customers.
