KING KABLE has released the USB043 full-feature optical fiber USB Type-C cable combining data, video and fast charging. Compliant with USB3.1 Gen2, it replaces copper with optical fiber as the high-speed signal medium, carrying 10Gbps data, 4K@60Hz video and PD 60W charging simultaneously over up to 20 meters.

The USB043 uses USB Type-C male-to-male connectors with OM3 10G optical fibers, copper fillers and Kevlar anti-pull yarns under an eco-friendly PVC jacket, only 4.8mm in diameter. Connector shells are gold-plated zinc alloy and housings are die-cast zinc alloy for heat dissipation, strength and mating life. It supports the UVC video protocol for cameras, capture devices and displays, and is compatible with USB3.1/3.0/2.0 equipment.

The value of a full-feature design is that one cable covers three needs: connecting docks, monitors and portable drives in office and creative work; linking cameras, controllers and test equipment in industrial settings; and handling screen sharing, peripherals and laptop power in conference rooms, reducing cable clutter.

The USB043 is unidirectional (Source to Display), plug and play with no external power, with a 50mm static minimum bend radius, 100N long-term and 200N short-term tensile ratings, operating from -20C to +80C at under 90% non-condensing humidity. It is certified to ROHS 2.0 and REACH, available in 5m and 20m lengths, and supports customization.
